Xerox-8560The Xerox Phaser 8560/N prints fast high quality pages at low cost per a page and uses solid ink technology to print with. Solid ink printers produce less waste than laser and inkjet printers and also produce faster 1st page printouts. Solid ink printers work by melting blocks of wax like ink and then applying it to the paper. This gives your printouts a unique glossy look and is ideal brochures and marketing materials.

The Xerox Phaser 8560 solid ink printer has a maximum print resolution of 2400dpi which is about the same as a high end laser printer. Overall the print quality is superb giving very dark blacks and the image quality is at least as good if not better than a high end laser printer.

This printer is very fast once warmed up it can start printing within 3 seconds of receiving the data. Compare this to laser printers which can take up to 30 seconds to print the 1st page and you see what we mean.

The Xerox Phaser 8560 prints  at speeds of up to 30 pages per a minute for black and colour printing alike. This is due to the fact that it prints in a single pass as opposed to conventional laser printers that need four passes to print in colour.

Replacing the Xerox Phaser 8560 solid ink sticks is is very easy simply drop a new ink and away you go. The other item that will require replacing is a maintenance kit and two types are available. The standard maintenance kit which lasts for 10,000 pages or an extended capacity maintenance kit which lasts for 30,00 pages.

Setup is straightforward simply insert the four ink blocks and then connect to a PC with either  a USB cable or an Ethernet cable if it is to be used on a network and install the driver software.

The printer has a 525 sheet paper tray at the bottom and you can also load up to 100 sheets in the front loading compartment.  Another two 525 sheet paper trays can be added if required.

If you are in the market for a high volume printer that produces high quality prints then the  Xerox Phaser 8560 is well worth taking a look at.
