Looking for an Epson Stylus Office BX305F printer review? Save yourself time, read on for a roundup of the latest reviews all in one place.Epson Stylus BX305FW Printer

Scour the internet & you are likely to find a variety of tests & printer reviews.  If you don’t have the time or the inclination to do this then check out our overview of the latest reviews here.

This addition to the Epson Stylus series in a multi functional Wi-Fi aimed at the business market.

Here are some of Epson’s claims

  • Uses DURABrite ultra ink – said to be resistant to water, fading & smudging & literally dry by the time it hits the paper
  • Process multi page documents with ease with the help of automatic document feeder.
  • Laser like results on invoices, graphs & marketing materials
  • Economical as it uses individual cartridges, you only need replace the colour used.
  • Tough all in one built to meet small business demands
  • Meets the strict ENERGY STAR® guidelines

When it comes to business printing inkject printers tend to get less than complimentary reviews.  The viable alternative for many is a colour laser printer, the downside is they tend to be heavy & expensive.

For some the Epson Stylus Office BX305FW could bridge the gap, depending on individual circumstances & demand of use.

Here is our roundup of reviews:

Techradar 3 out of 5 stars

They found the auto document feeder efficient for photocopying, scanning & faxing.  Not so keen on the photo quality on glossy paper, but the images on plain paper were certainly passable.  Wi-Fi was a benefit, but the single paper tray was not convenient as you had to switch headed paper, envelopes & plain paper.

The BX305FW fine for basic printing, scanning, photocopying and faxing.  The ULTRABrite ink made impressive no smudge prints.  Lacking in a few features that would be useful in an office. features would have made it much more useful in the office.

Trusted reviews 7 out of 10

The control panel is crowded, but they liked the 2 line LCD display which is easily read even with overhead lighting.  Another positive was the ease with which the ink cartridges clipped in.

They noted that although Epson state the rear paper try will take 120 sheets, that is based on 64 gsm.  If you use higher quality 80 gsm they think you would be lucky to get 100 sheets in.

Trusted were less than complimentary of the print speed claims, considering Epson were optimistic with 34ppm for black & 15ppm colour claim.  Tests found a 5 page black text document returned 3.6ppm & draft mode speed of 12.5ppm.

Whilst speeds are slow, with full fax support & ADF for multi page scanning & copying this all in one is still reasonable value for money.

Computer active 3 out of 5

Auto document feeder, fax with speed-dial & good software are features that offer value for money. On the negative side, it is slow to print, doesn’t have a memory card slot or usb port & above average running costs.

Customer reviews

“As a small business this is probably one of the best purchase we’ve made.  This supposedly cheap Printer/Fax machine saved the day with its scanning facility, simple easy to use”

“Some reviews said it was a noisy machine – no way”

“Paper feed is not good. It is very slow in printing and copying”

“Setting up the WiFi was a breeze, simple to use & print quality excellent”
